Albostriata bamboo

Sasaella masamuneana 'Albostriata'

A beautiful variegated dwarf bamboo. The creamy white and green leaves of this bamboo or just stunning in the spring. It grows and spreads fast, never getting over about 4 feet tall (although some sources report 6 feet tall). We have this bamboo along our driveway and it always gets lots of attention from visitors. Every few years I cut it back to about 12 inches and it comes back even prettier.
