Red Pandas at the Lincoln Park Zoo
Looking
something like a really cute racoon, Red Pandas are very closely related
to Giant Pandas.
These animals are endangered so hopefully they will be able to breed at
their new home. The majority of their
diet is bamboo. They do a poor job of digesting bamboo and must eat large
quantities. We will try to bring updates in coming months.
