On the left is a young grove of P.atrovaginata. On the right is one of the larger canes. This bamboo
is known as Incense Bamboo. It is supposed to smell of incense when scratched or bruised. I've never
been able to smell it myself. It is one of my favorites because the canes have a very neat, strong look.
This bamboo gets large in diamter for it's heigth.
