Bamboo Uses

Over 100 years ago, Thomas Edison used a thin sliver of bamboo to make the first lightbulb. He reportedly experimented
with hundreds of different materials before succeeding with bamboo. He tried many different varieties of bamboo and
settled on one from Kyoto. His company manufactured lightbulbs using bamboo filaments back in 1882.
