Large specimen size bamboos, 15 gallon
and larger sizes. Commercial and private installations of large bamboo.
Why are Jmbamboo's plants better?
We dig and pot up our plants 6 months to a year before we sell them. This
means great root systems with the potential to send up lots of new shoots
the first spring. It also means they have a better chance of surviving and
thriving. Many of our competitors dig plants, hold them a few weeks, and never
pot them up. They will need 6 months to a year to catch up with a plant from
Jmbamboo. Cheaper is not always better, especially with plants.
Bamboo makes a great privacy screen for blocking wind, noise, and environmental disasters. These are some popular screening bamboos, ranging in heigth from a few feet up to 70 feet.
These bamboos are all hardy down to below zero. You can grow these in zone 5 and colder. The perfect screening bamboo for colder landscapes.
Some of these bamboos can reach up to 70 feet in height and 6+ inches in diameter. Any of these would be a dramatic addition to your landscape!
Black Bamboo, Yellow with green stripes, Variegated - these are some unique bamboos not commonly seen. You'll love one of these in your garden.
Bamboo comes in all sizes. These are small, some only a few inches tall. They make great groundcovers or even a lawn. These are the nano plants of the bamboo world!
Here are some of the best choices for indoor bamboo. With a little care you can grow bamboo indoors giving your home a tropical look.
We've dug the 80 field
specimen plants and we are holding for deliver in late Feb. The Robert
Young is the largest as that was all we had availble, most are 2 to
3 inches in diameter and 20 + feet tall. With the hard work done I've
spent the last few days digging more Yellow
Groove and Moso to be potted up in 3
and 5 gallon containers. The Moso will start shootin in March so I've
dug all I can find now. We have a large order of Red Margin going out
this weekend so I've spent the day getting boxes ready. Today I visited
a grove of Black bamboo that I planted behind
my late grandmother's home years ago. The current owners have let it really
get out of hand so I went by and cut a lot of canes that were leaning
over onto the house. These were big canes, many over 2 inches in diameter
and a beautiful black color. I gave them some advice on controlling
the bamboo, at the very least they need to kick over all the shoots
that will come up next to the house.
